PIRRONNE YOUSEFZADEH will be a second year MFA Director at Columbia University.
She was a 2006 Drama League Fellow at the Hangar Theatre, where she directed productions of Icarus's Mother and Cory Hinkle's What Happened to Bill Viola?.
As a DL alumna, she directed for the Drama League's week of 365 Plays/365 Days at the Public Theater. She has also worked at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Milwaukee Rep, and Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis.
She received her B.A. in English Literature and Theatre from Washington University in St. Louis and trained at Shakespeare's Globe in London.
She looks forward to assistant directing the upcoming SPF production of Cipher by Cory Hinkle, and assisting Anne Bogart at the SITI Company's Summer Training Intensive in Saratoga Springs.
