GIA MAROTTA is a recent graduate of Yale College ('06).

In New York, her plays have been workshopped and produced by Dixon Place, Six Figures (West End Theater), Sweeter Theater Productions (Barrow Group & Dorothy Strelsin), and will appear this summer in both the Midtown International Theater Festival and New York International Fringe Festival.  At Yale, her first play, Sympathetic Division, was selected for a staged reading in the Yale Playwrights Festival of 2006 (mentors: Deb Margolin and Tanya Barfield).  Her other plays include: Holy O, waiting: a play in phases, and things that live on departure.
